Survival Kit is an upcoming band from the Southeast. Since 2016, they have produced many hit songs and played shows across the country. Now, the band has released their latest project, the song “Stranger Things”. The song is inspired by a few crazy and mismatched Tinder dates. While the song is funny, at its heart it is an attempt to expose the raw and swift nature of the “Tinder culture”. The final line in the song, “Waiting for my chance to see ‘Stranger Things,’” is a stab at the Netflix and Chill phase of social media.
