David Greathouse, known professionally as Glocck Vee, is an American rap artist from Albuquerque, NM. Born July 14th, 1984. Glocck Vee currently works with Juelz Santana, Big Trill, And Maino, Glocck Vee has also collaborated with Mr.Pookie From Dallas Tx Stoney Crook Records. Glocck Vee was raised in the South Broadway Neighborhood which at the time was designated a federal pocket of poverty site. Growing up, G. Vee was hardened by the many difficult experiences he faced throughout his adolescence. As a result of his given circumstances, G. Vee found himself having countless run-ins with the law, all of which began with his first conviction for a attempted murder at the age of 13 years old. After years of continuous legal mishaps that would result in his periodical arrest/release from prison, G. Vee began rapping as a way to express himself in a positive manner while also distancing himself from his life in the streets. Since, his release in January 2013 G. Vee has dropped multiple singles such as “I REMEMBER ,HOW I WAS RAISED”, and “HARD FOR A CHECK,HIT ME A LICK”, I REMEMBER”, thus gaining him local and regional notoriety.

Compositionally, G. Vee’s music can be characterized by themes and lyrics that generally emphasize the “gangsta” lifestyle. His musical content also explores esoteric and metaphysical themes in cohesion with instrumentals that contain heavy “trap music” influences.
