Frigo is a genre-bending producer and multi-instrumentalist from Oakland, CA. Originally trained as a classical violinist, he became increasingly drawn to jazz as he studied music throughout his childhood and started producing music in middle school with Ableton. He plays violin, guitar, synths, and bass on his debut album, “We Are Not Alone,” which reflects influences in hip hop, jazz, classical, funk, and edm. Frigo is not afraid to steer away from what is expected: many of his tracks are two or three unique musical ideas in sequence. Arranged in a very specific order, the track titles are clues to the story that the album depicts. The album is a soundtrack –- with no lyrics, the listener finds themself on a journey through musical dimensions.
